Accounting
Designed for Gr 8-9 Learners
At Discoveringme Tutor Centres, our accounting programme is aligned with the school curriculum and supports students at every stage of their academic journey. We focus on building a strong foundation in core accounting principles, helping learners understand key concepts, apply them accurately, and catch up where needed. For students who are ready to progress further, we offer extension support that introduces more advanced topics and develops higher-level problem-solving and analytical skills.
Online lessons
We also offer the same extra lesson services online for your convenience. Lessons are conducted via the Microsoft Teams platform and are one hour in duration, held once per week. To participate, learners will require a phone, tablet, or laptop, along with a stable internet connection. Please note that online lessons do not include the cost of workbooks, which are covered in the in-person sessions.
Our belief
We believe that every child is unique, which is why we don’t use a one-size-fits-all approach. Each learning programme is individually tailored to suit the needs of the student, and progress is measured every step of the way to ensure effective results.
Pricing
We are open during March/April and September/October school holidays. We close for the month of July and at year end we close on 30 November and re-open in January on the day that schools re-open. We are closed on national public holidays.
